About
I’m an artist based in Tucson, Arizona, currently studying Art History and Photography at the University of Arizona.
Born and raised in the desert, this arid landscape has shaped my perspective and continues to serve as a constant source of inspiration.
The desert is a backdrop for everything pointed—a tempestuous setting where visual disruptions take the form of thorns, spines, and pointed edges..
I’m drawn to what interrupts,,what protrudes, and what refuses to blend in..
My work is rooted in documenting that which sticks out.
Video, digital, analog, and experimental mediums are the tools that allow me to explore what informs my perception—between what is seen and what insists on being noticed.
My journey into photography was spurred by my sister, Katie.-and her work in the visual arts realm
The days we shared bunk beds ,were the seeds for my creative and collaborative affinity and growing up I am grateful to continue to create art side by side with such a bright gal\
